Ordering & Dispatch
We are able to offer delivery on the following days: Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. Please allow four working days when placing your order, this is the time needed for us to prepare, cook, chill, package and despatch via courier. A standard delivery charge of £8.75 applies to all orders.
Delivery dates are chosen by yourself during the checkout process with all available dates shown in the calendar. It is your responsibility to check that you have chosen your preferred delivery date during the checkout process. We cannot take responsibility for errors made during the checkout process. Please double check ALL order details before finalising your order.
Additionally, it is your responsibility to ensure that someone is available to accept delivery of your order on the chosen delivery date. If the order is being sent as a gift, we strongly recommend that the recipient is made aware of the expected delivery.

Free local delivery (15 mile radius of Stafford) is available on minimum order value of £15.00 or alternatively you can arrange to collect from our Store – we are just over two miles from Stafford town centre. Delivery days are Tuesdays and Fridays. Please ensure that someone will be at home to receive your pies before placing your order.
Orders placed by 5pm Saturday will be available for Tuesday delivery/collection. Orders placed by 5pm Tuesday will be available for Friday delivery/collection.
Please double check ALL order details before finalising your order. Additionally, it is your responsibility to ensure that someone is available to accept delivery of your order on the chosen delivery date. Please add required delivery date (Tuesday/Friday) in the ‘notes’ section at checkout. If the order is being sent as a gift, we strongly recommend that the recipient is made aware of the expected delivery.
Special delivery instructions
When placing an order, you will be asked to provide special delivery instructions for the courier. These instructions will tell the courier where to place the delivery should someone not be available to accept the delivery in person. If these instructions are provided the delivery will be left in your specified safe place and you accept this at your own risk. We accept no liability for its loss or damage. PLEASE NOTE: due to the current situation and COVID-19 the courier will not ask you for a signature when delivering, just your name. If you are out at the time the courier will endeavour to leave your parcel in a safe place.
If special delivery instructions are not provided, and a safe place is not identified, the courier may take the delivery back to the delivery depot. In this instance, the courier will leave a calling card, asking you to contact the delivery depot to re-arrange delivery. It is your responsibility to re-arrange delivery. Please note our products will remain chilled in their special packaging for 48 hours. If the delivery is not re-arranged within 48 hours, the goods will be destroyed. Due to the perishable nature of the products we cannot accept returns or issue refunds for products that the courier has been unable to deliver.
Please note: by not providing special delivery instructions, you are confirming that someone will be present to accept and sign for your delivery, at the delivery address provided. The delivery will be deemed complete, either when you receive the delivery in person, or when the delivery is left in a safe place.
Deliveries via courier will be made between the hours of 8.00am and 5.00pm. However, please be aware that this may be subject to change during busy periods.
We always aim to deliver goods within the delivery slot agreed. However, we cannot accept liability for any costs, losses, damages or expenses incurred by you or any third party if we deliver the goods outside of this slot or don’t deliver all or any of the goods in the order.
All our products are packaged using Woolcool packaging with ice packs and wool insulation – natural and sustainable the wool liners have superior insulation properties (certified to 5°C for 48 hours), produced as a by-product of rearing sheep, are totally compostable and biodegradable (releasing valuable nitrates back into the soil) as well as being suitable for a host of other uses.
All our products should be refrigerated immediately upon receipt, they will then keep for five days in the fridge. Pork pies are delivered chilled, ready to eat and do not require cooking. All other products are delivered cooked and chilled ready for reheating at home as required. If freezing, freeze on day of receipt, however please note to enjoy pastry at its absolute best pork pies are best consumed fresh.
